Humans of North Korea — Jae Hwan Lim

Humans of North Korea (HNK) is a socially engaged art group that supports people of and from North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea, DPRK) through humanitarianism, advocating Korea peace and North Koreans’ resettlement. HNK publicly discusses the complex identities and socio-political history of the Korean heritage through topics on North Korea and its diaspora. HNK members actively develop public fora to reciprocally communicate with the public and understand North Korean people, culture, society, economy, and politics.

Humans of North Korea (HNK)는 인도주의를 통해 북의 사람들과 북에서 온 사람들을 지원하는 사회참여예술 그룹으로 한반도 평화와 북향민들의 재정착을 지지한다. HNK는 북과 북의 디아스포라에 대한 주제를 통해 한국의 정체성과 사회정치적 역사의 복잡성을 공적으로 논의한다. HNK 구성원들은 사람들과 상호소통하고 북의 사람, 문화, 사회, 경제, 정치를 이해하기 위해 공공 포럼을 발전시킨다.
